Another Friday Freebie

As I mentioned before, I am helping my Mom clean out her sewing room,
and she wanted to pass these pretties (Mary Engelbreit fabric) to a good home.
Will you use them?? Do you love them??
If so, leave a comment telling me why.
I will draw a name on Monday.

  1. Well, I don't expect to win this one, (since I am going to be getting your lovely Christmas project in the mail sometime soon) but I HAVE to leave a comment because I do LOVE all things ME!! I don't know when this love affair started, but I have enjoyed her art for years now! (I almost always have a calendar or two of hers, but I didn't get one this year!) If I did get this fabric I would say an apron was in order for sure!

  2. I love them too. An apron is a good idea but maybe a teaset would be nice. By this I think some napkins, maybe a little tabletopper, to visually make a place where you can sit with cup in hand and think, Dang. That ME sure is brilliant. Why am I not like that??

  4. I love ME!! Specifically my mom really loves ME. I asked for her Christmas if she wanted me to make her a table topper quilt and she said no, but then she saw everyone's that I did make and she was alittle sad I could tell. So I'd love to make her a table topper from this fabric! Here's what I'd try to make it look like too! http://www.modabakeshop.com/2010/02/skinny-verna.html#more

  10. I can't believe this giveaway... Teapots, where did she find them.... My grand daughter is having her Bat Mitzvah in September and her theme is a tea party, I am making a teapot cake, tea cups filled with flowers will be on the tables and there will be tea cup shaped soaps as favors as well a teapot chaped chocolates... I always make a quilt for this very special day and the tea themed fabric would look so cute. I was planning on making some of the blocks with embroidered tea pots.. I will keep fingers and toes crossed that I may be the winner and if I don't win, maybe your Mom will let me know where she found the fabric

  16. I don't tend to buy themed prints like these because I don't use them often, but oh when I need them to make the perfect gift it sure comes in handy. Case in point: I made tea wallets for friends this past Christmas and didn't have themed fabric so just used a pretty paisley...these would have made DARLING wallets! Would love to win for next years tea wallet recipients...maybe even a cozy!

  20. I love Mary Engelbreit's designs because they always seem to have a sense of fun.
However I also love them because I was first introduced to her through online quilting groups and her designs remind me of all the kindness and friendship my virtual quilting sisters showed me and still show me when we bump into one another round the 'net.
