Neutrals

I am so happy with how this quilt turned out,
This is my second quilt with only solids.
and my only quilt with these colors.
And I love how it turned out.
It will be the perfect couch quilt.
I used 6" squares.
Total size 60"x77"
I quilted it with straight lines, and backed with a soft black minky.

Posh Pumpkin Quilting

I love this fabric line. Perfect for fall.
I made these table runners for my Grandma to enjoy in her house.
I found some pinterest inspiration for this one.
I love how the quilting on the pumpkins turned out.

Halloween Squares

This fabric was from a few years ago.
And has been a wip for a few years as well.
I think it was a halloween bag panel.
I cut up the cute images, and bordered them.
I then bordered those squares with white fabric to make them pop.
This is the perfect blanket for my kiddos to cuddle with.
I quilted circles on all the sashing,
and outlined all the images.
Theres a bright Halloween Orange minky on the back.
It looks really cool on the backside.
You can see the Halloween images that are stitched,
and outlined with circles.
Happy October!

Pow Wow Scraps

I put all the scraps I had from the baby pow wow and twin size pow wow
and made this quilt.
Wow! crazy small scraps. I swear this will be my last large quilt with small scrap pieces.
My helpers were not tall enough to hold it right side up.
I quilted straight "chevron lines" through the small squares,
and broke up the borders with separate free motion quilting.
I put fun minky on the back.
This quilt fits nicely on a twin bed. Its not as wide as the Pow Wow twin version,
but will will look nice and coordinate well when there both on the beds.

Quilting the TeePees

I think these triangle blocks look like teepees.
I love me some American Jane Fabrics.
My dear friend made this quilt top.
And I quilted it for her.
I did an all over stipple pattern.
The backing is a solid navy blue minky.
(thankgoodness there was not puckering. This backing is not forgiving of mistakes)

Pow Wow Twin

Here is my Twin version of the Baby Pow Wow I posted awhile back.
I really loooove this quilt.
I made this one for my 4yr olds bed.
There are some pretty cute prints in the quilt.
I quilted a meandering circle pattern.
I didnt want to do a basic pebble quilting, and wanted more circles like bubbles.
So this is what I came up with.
There is a combination of the green and orange minky plaid pattern on the back.
I made the outside white borders a little bit larger then the pattern suggested.
Total size is 72 X 93

Baby Stars

A few years back, I taught a friend of mine to quilt.
That friend of mine, just had her first baby.
A beautiful baby girl.
This quilt is for her.
For my Inspiration...
I used this picture for the colors (plus some orange) from here
and this quilt pattern (which I loooove), from here
And here is the quilt.
I attempted orange peel quilting.
It took a few rows to get use to, but I love the look. So fun.
I backed it with a snuggly flower print minky.
I used 5 X 6 1/2" squares for each star.
The total quilt size is 49X55
I love this quilt. I would love a twin size version for my little miss's bed.

Baby Pow Wow

I love this pattern.
It is one of Cluck Cluck Sews; found here.
I made this baby boy quilt for some very special friends first baby.
I quilted an all over stipple pattern.
And put soft minky on the back.
At the same time I also pieced enough blocks to make a twin size version of this quilt. I was over my head in pow wow blocks.
Final size 47 X 52
Perfect Boy quilt. (in my opinion)

Christmas Pinwheels

This lovely quilt was a Christmas present to my Mom.
...and she loved it!
I made it out of a Mary Engelbreit's Layer Cake.
I quilted a circle around the points of the pinwheels.
After I had quilted all the main pinwheels,
I went back and quilted circles around the non main pinwheels.
They remind me of a peppermint swirl; perfect for Christmas.
There's a nice comfy black minky on the back.
And here is the label I put on the back of the quilt.

Baby Hourglass Cousin

Girly Hourglass, purple and teal, cousin version.
This one is for another sister who just had a baby girl.
These are such fun quilts. And I wish I had one for me too.
I quilted a circle loopty loop design.
and the cute label on the back.
