My sisters entry is comment #435
Here is my entry(comment #495):
Im Erica, I just bought a case of Dr. Pepper, I am addicted to the aqua/turquoise color right now, and I love LOVE love Moda fabric. My life has a little more sunshine in it each time I enjoy your blog. Please keep up the great posts. I tell everyone I know about your amazing blog and amazing talents, and I linked the give-a-way on my blog too.
My first experience with the moda cut goods was last fall when I wanted to make a fall wall quilt. I LOVED every single fabric in the crazy pumpkins line. I loved them all so much I could not decide which to buy. my solution was to buy my first layer cake and the pumpkin panel and a few yards of the fabric I could absolutely not live with out. I finished the pumpkin panel and had it up on the wall. and the layer cake will be finished for fall this year.
I just bought a second charm pack of the Thimble blossoms fabric, and made another table runner with your pattern from the bake shop and gave it to my friend for her birthday. (She LOVED it, thanks again for the pattern)
I am very excited to see the Simple abundance fabric this summer, and I have been loving my table runner so much I am going to purchase, in the near future a Jelly roll of Thimble blossoms for a wall hanging in my basement. (I will send you the link when I have that project finished)
My favorite part of the cut goods is the pinking scissor edges so they don't fray.
I also am going to try cutting two charm packs in half and then sewing the strips between white fabric. I think I saw the idea on V and co.
And honestly I hope my sister wins your generous give-a-way, of course my fingers are crossed for me to win, but I hope Rebecca-military wife-from NC wins your give-a-way, She called me to tell me about your give-a-way, after she just spent two hours at the fabric store tonight trying to put together a fun quilt project, and came to the conclusion the best way to get a project is with a moda cut goods, the colors are perfect matches and its cut and ready to go, a super time saver when you have a six month old baby like she does! She is ready for some of your inspiration!
Thanks for being AMAZING.
What a nice letter. So much love and support for your sister. I am impressed.
