Easy Peasy Panel

My mom had this panel in her "someday I will make"
pile in her sewing room.
I quickly snatched it up, bound it, then started quilting it. My little guy has a matching crib sheet out of the back side fabric.
Love this cute sports fabric.
With some encouragement from my mom, I quilted in stars all over the quilt. It was really fun to add in some shapes once I got a hang of making the stars. I love how unique each star is. This quilt came together really fast. I will have to do some more panel quilts in the future. i also think that quilting shapes, or even outlining the fabric designs would be a darling way to quilt panels.
Right now I am "eye-ing" these panels. (dont they look fun?)
